Formerly known as 2C Electronics, Euro Display was founded in 1978. At the beginning the company operates in the field of electronic components and boards, as a supplier of many companies of the signage and lighening sector.
Since the very beginning, the passion for LEDs and the constant search for excellence are distinctive features of the company.

2005
Euro Display enters the Rental and Staging world with the proEVENT Series. From the very beginning, these brand new products represent a great success among the sector's operators. The proEVENT modules are developed and designed by the R&D engineers team after a several months of close collaboration with preminent companies of the rental industry.

2001
Thanks to the incredible work and intuitions of Euro Display's R&D department, the new TrueColor© LED giant screen is lauched on the market. It represent an evolution of the FullColor technology and it allows to visualize 65.000 levels for each colour, for a total of over 280 billion colours.

1997
Euro Display launches its first FullColor graphic display with the Red, Green and Blue colours. At the beginning small light-bulbs are utilized instead of the blue LEDs just invented by Dr. Shji Nakamura of Nichia Chemical Corporation. The new LED FullColor giant screen allows the visualization of 16 million colours. An incredibly wide palette if compared with other products.

1994
The evolution of TabGra© is called VideoIdea©. This brand new product, thanks to the 3 colours (red, green and yellow) allows to visualize 256 colours levels. A state-of-the-art product for the time!

1992
The success of the first graphic display define the future of the company that change its name in Euro Display. The internal competencies and experience are further enriched with the arrival of several new professionals that enters strategic positions within the company. As usual, the Passion for LED is a critical factor during the selection process.

1986
Its the first huge technological breakthrough: Euro Display start the production of Multilines Graphic displays, that allows to visualize 3D graphics and animation, rather than text only. The new product is called TabGra© acronym of "Tabellone Grafico" ("Graphic Board" in italian). Here it comes the first TriColor animated screen, with red and green LEDs that together create the yellow colour.

1983
The first signle line LED displays are launched on the market: the very first SL Series.

1980
The production of LED digital watches starts, the first important step in the LED technology.

1978
2C Electronics is founded in Rosta (Turin). The company operates in the field of components and electronic board.
